Recently l watched an English dub of Danish animated movie called "Samson and Sally" and l enjoyed it. While I was researching about it on internet and discovered it was directed by Jannik Hastrup, which is the same guy who directed War of the Birds (Fuglekrigen i kanøfleksen) which l seen it. And l was genuinely surprised. But unlike Samson and Sally despite being pretty dark movie, War of the Birds is adult animated movie. It has swearing, sexual innuendos and moments, characters pointing middle finger, violence, slavery, blood and abuse.

If you ask which movie l loved more, it is War of the Birds. It has more streamlined plot and characters. Though I love both of these movies.

Anyway I drew a fanart of these movies and l hope you like it.

L’enfant qui voulait être un ours de Jannik Hastrup

Encore un sacré trauma d’enfance, vu vers 5/6 ans au cinéma, et dont l’ambiance oppressante et surtout le personnage de l’esprit m’a terriblement marquée. La musique est très belle et le graphisme aussi, mais il faudrait que je le revoit pour savoir ce qu’il vaut vraiment.

no one knows movie but it was even more beautiful than any Disney-movie I've seen before. It'S poetic, sad, beautiful and the drawings are art. Though you can't understand French or Danish I would ask to watch it anyway or with subtitles. This movie's too precious to be forgotten.

Oh and a tad dissapointed in the ponies, they looked sparkly on the box. Oh well, they are still cute.
